The design of a thoroughbred horse facility involved the creation of a series of outdoor spaces and courtyards to serve the client's needs for entertaining and showing horses as well as connecting the state of the art barn with paddocks and trails. Outdoor spaces are configured to respond to the scale and movement of horses while also providing a flexibility that allows various human uses from parking vehicles to accommodating the hosting of a formal dinner.
