This 50-acre public park master plan is a collaborative project, jointly managed by Siteworks and McKnight Associates. It consists of a complex layering of ecological and circulation systems with prominent institutional and community stakeholders. The park connects prominent civic institutions including the Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland Botanical Gardens, Case Western Reserve University and the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, along with historical neighborhoods on either side of the Doan Brook valley.
Siteworks is currently working to consolidate efforts to transform traffic patterns, create a more viable pedestrian atmosphere, generate meaningful new park spaces and restore the stream corridor with multicultural vitality. These efforts are taking place via a series of meetings with public stakeholders, an integrated team of designers, park advocates, museum officials, artists, film-makers, neighborhood organizations and local officials.
